This has been the craziest summer of my life. I made the really stupid and risky decision of dropping a major I new I had a future in and following a dream that I didn't really have much confidence in. Now I'm preparing to audition as a music major at USF in December. I have to memorize two upper level pieces in just a few months.
The best thing is. I'm not even worried.
I'm also excited to be involved with the only punk rock show in downtown Plant City. We kick ass. If any of you guys are interested in coming to a show this saturday around 10, let me know, I can give you directions (if you don't know Plant City). I think this ones gonna be slowed down compared to the other shows, more folky-ish.
Anyways, I have like 250 pages of reading to do by Wednesday morning and I have to work tomorrow afternoon so I better go.I feel : determined I hear : Karma | Alicia Keys

First, of course, I should mention the Something Corporate concert. Fucking Awesome. The end.
That's all I really know to say about it. I had the time of my life.
Turned in my final paper for english 1 on Friday, too.
Drove home, played piano, learned a few new songs.
Just wait, I'm gonna be huge in Europe.
Speeaking of which, my freshman 15 is now officially complete, just in time for the end of the semester, YAY!
But guess what, I learned a new card game from my grandparents!
Hehe, I'm such a nerd.
But yeah, it's called canasta and it's like rummy squared.
I guess that's it.
Much love homies.I feel : exhausted I hear : Tune Out | The Format

Tonight Andrew, Savannah, and I went to Amanda's place and I got to cook dinner. Savannah made the sauce for the pasta while I boiled the pasta and made green beans and potatoes. Amanda had some ready-to-bake biscuits that she popped in the oven. She also took the brownies out and put them on a burner that was on. Oops.
Oh, and I set of the fire alarm twice. Oops.
Tomorrow we're starting our trip to the lake house. I'm gonna cook all the meals and they're gonna be good. I need to come up with a plan for what I'm going to cook though. I still don't have a birthday present but I have a top secret plan for that.
Oh, and most of the classes I was going to take over the next few semesters are already full. Yay!I feel : complacent I hear : Last Song | All-American Rejects

So, this week I resolved to go to each and every one of my classes... and failed miserably. But Spring Break is coming up so it's all good. I've finally watched all three of the Harry Potter movies and frankly, the suck compared to the books but I guess you already knew that. Andrew got me Microsoft Office so I got Outlook and it KICKS ASS!!
I'm rambling, can ya tell?
Oh well. I guess that's pretty much it.
Oh yeah! ( Read more... )

| » In the beginning [of the week] there was Valentine's Day, and it was good. |
Valentine's day was awesome. We went and saw "Hitch" and then tried to go eat somewhere but everybody was closing so we ate at Steak & Shake. That sounds so ghetto but I had a great time. I had a good time that night, too. ;)
GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!
It was nothing like that. But I had fun none the less.
Yesterday I spent nearly every waking hour studying or doing homework. Thank you soooooo much for your help Savannah. And you too Andy. I probably would have been up till 11:59 without you guys.
Today was my Macroeconomics exam. This class is sooo much easier than AP was. I definitely got at least a high B... I think...
Anywho, now I have to get to writing an introduction to my commentary for English, so, toodles!

[01] Reply with your name and I will write something about you.
[02] I will then tell what song[s] remind me of you.
[03] Next, I will tell you who you remind me of, celebrity/animated or otherwise.
[04] Last, I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
[05] Put this in your journal.
For English I had to find a commentary article in the opinion section of the newspaper and basically disect it. I found one that was pretty interesting. Apparently the army has recently enveiled a new 'robot soldier.'
Kinda creepy, huh? Now it should be noted that these are not smart weapons but are pretty much controlled by humans. But still, it seems like a beginning.
I don't like it. It makes the act of killing a human being too distant and easy.
PS-- I want to get hypnotized. Yes, I think I do.

Existentialism on Prom Night
when the sun came up we were sleeping in sunk inside our blankets sprawled across the bed and we were dreaming there are moments when i know it and the world revolves around us and we're keeping it keeping it all going this delicate balance vulnerable all knowing (sing like you think no one's listening) you would kill for this just a little bit so, sing me something soft sad and delicate or loud and out of key sing me anything we're glad for what we've got done with what we've lost our whole lives laid out right in front of us

Well, in about four and a half hours, I will leave on a trip to Tennessee, to spend the week in a cabin complete with pool table, hot tub, and SNOW!!!
I am sooo excited I can't even tell you people!
I'm bringing my guitar so I can sit in the back seat and annoy everyone the whole way there! Yay!
I wish I could explain what a good mood I'm in.
I'll try and update if I can but I don't know if we'll have internet or not. So if I don't get to write, everybody have a great break and a great Christmas! Much love to all o ya!
Later!

Past couple of days have really been cool.
Yesterday we had Christmas early at my house since we won't really be here when we usually do it. I kinda wish we had waited but I'll get over it. :)
Today I called Savannah and Brittany to see if they wanted to do anything. Savannah said of course but I couldn't get hold of Brittany. (Sorry, I tried, maybe in a couple weeks) We walked around the mall aimlessly for a little while and then went to go see "Finding Neverland." That is easily one of the best movies ever made! Johnny Depp is like the greatest actor ever. If you don't agree then... [insert threat here]! I highly recommend the movie.
PS-- MY ROOM IS CLEAN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 MONTHS!!!!
Peace out.
